All online purchases of Little Virtuoso products are placed through PayPal. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to theirs using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to PayPal, their server checks that you're using an approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.
Once your information reaches PayPal, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. PayPal servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the internet, so your private information is available only to authorized computers.
You do not need to create a PayPal account to purchase a Little Virtuoso product. However, if you already have a PayPal account or decide to create one, never give out your password to anyone. Also, remember to sign out of your account and close your browser window when you finish making a payment so that other people using the same computer won't have access to your information.
Protect Your Account Information. Make sure you never provide your password to fraudulent websites. To safely and securely access the PayPal website or your account, open a new web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer or Netscape) and type in the PayPal URL (https://www.paypal.com/us/) to be sure you are on the real PayPal site. PayPal will never ask you to enter your password in an email. For more information on protecting yourself from fraud, please review PayPal Security Tips.
